2A-bug list

George's Bug List:  

1- parking at UF: we suffer a big problem at the University of Florida Especially for the undergrad students who like to drive their car to class because if you chose to buy the UF parking tag then you will have to park your car like 3 miles away from the campus and you have to walk a long distance or take the bus from the parking spot to class which I think is really waste of money to buy the parking tag from UF. On the other hand, the private parking off campus is really expensive and it is unorganized and people can literally hit your car and get away with it.  why does this problem exists? Because scooters are really popular at UF and most people either use scooters or the bus to get to campus which is a major contributor to this mater but I think it is solvable problem. 

I actually tried to solve this problem myself by trying to rent the parking location off Wuniversity & NW 16th st but the owner asked for way too much money. My idea was to create a simple app that people can pay thought it instead of using 1990 technology which is a deposit box that you put the parking fee in, and also using cameras to monitor the parking location instead of just stand there in the 100-degree weather of Gainesville.  

2- homeless people around the USA: I think the homeless people is one of the most important problems that we face. It is really shaming to think that we our one of the greatest countries in the world and yet there are people on our street asking for change. Why does this problem exisit? There is a lot of factors that cause this problem, including drugs abuse, housing crisis, bankruptcies, and much more. I think the US government or a powerful private sector is fully capable of solving this issue partially and then fully by building a facility where those homeless people can work simple jobs such as products assembly or craft work in exchange of their living cost and rehab programs.  

3-Addicts and overdoses in USA: This is another major issue in our country and it is affecting a lot of people lives, and even taking some lives as well. I think this problem exist because of our really messed up health system and all the irresponsible doctors who are describing strong pain killers to people who don’t even need them and then cutting their supply which will push all those people for the illegal supplements such heroin or meth.  We can solve this problem by raising more awareness about this issue and participate in our local community's rehab centers.  

4- Wasted food: This one is a simple induvial problem but yet has great effects because we all do it. We are all guilty in this matter because we all though food away that’s not bad and actually can be saved or donated. I personally have been involved in this issue and I tried to donate all the untouched food from my brother's wedding party to a local but they didn’t take it because they were afraid it wasn’t a good source of food which I think is a really stupid rule and we can write some new laws that opens up the door for more people to donate. 

5- text-drive: a major and risky problem. doesn't it really bother you when some irresponsible driver causes an accident or hurt someone just because he was texting and wasn’t being attention!!  

I think this problem has a really easy fix with the right enforcements especially in Florida which happens to have none about this issue.  

 6- weather forecast models: It was really surprising to me that even in 2017 and with all the technical advantages we have, we still can't figure out where is a major hurricane exactly heading? Or how to stop it from destroying people's homes! This problem exist because I think nature will always have the upper hand on us but we still have to keep trying and trying.   

7- Electronic cars are expensive!! I wish if one major company such as tesla would come up with a really affordable and cool looking electronic car so you save the planet while looking cool driving at the same time! I think this is a problem because they target customer with enough money in their bank accounts to actually start thinking about the planet!! 

8- I really hate that we only have two major political parties in the US, why do I have to choose between liberal democrat or a conservative republican only >>?? We need to take the best values and standards out of the 2 parties and start a third party and call it (just in the middle).  

9- I hate how many TV shows there is out there on networks and Netflix!! Who the hell watches all these series? People got nothing better to do these days?  

I think this problem exists because our generation need a reboot!  

10- I really hate when people ask me where I am from with a weird look!! Like what does it matter if I look foreign? I always answer with the same thing: I AM FROM PLANET EARTH, WHERE YOU FROM ?? 

11-  cryptocurrencies: I really hate when people try to argue with me about bitcoin and ripple and try to tell me that it is not real and it is all a scam, while I never told them that I believe in it. I just believe that if other people making ton of money trading it why shouldn't I do it? This problem exists because of close minded people who don’t know how to take advantage from a good opportunity. 

12- Patriots vs Titans game (playoff game) : It was a really clear in the game that the refs were on the pats side and they gave them so many false penalties that helped them get a head in that game.  

This problem exists because NFL want the most number of viewers for the playoff games so they want the patriots to win so they can attract more viewers and news.  

13-Guns in the USA: The debate about guns drive me crazy. Democrats want limits guns and republicans want to loosen up the gun laws for owners. Why can't we all agree on some common-sense laws that cover the best ideas of the 2 parties and start to help people instead of just arguing and arguing all the time.  

I think a great solution for this problem would be a finger print technology to be built-in in every gun that sold in the USA to stop the illegal market and only allow the purchasing owner to use it. 

14- low minimum wage, especially in Florida:  

I am a business owner and I pay a lot of payroll every month and I still think that a higher minimum wage would help the economy over all so people can have a higher buying power. This problem exists because big companies threat that they will build their factories and headquarters outside the US so they can save payroll and taxes.  

15- scam calls and junk emails are a must stop problem, we need to find the people responsible for the phone ads that tell you that you won a free cruise trip because it is heart breaking! Lol  

This problem exists because our phone numbers and names are all over the internet. 

16- Apple slowing down old iPhones: I kind saw that coming long time ago because it will make total sense to do that and I don’t blame them, it is all about the sales at the end of the day.  

Why? Because apple want people to buy their new phones every other year so apple can make more money and investment more in new tech developments so they can bring us cooler technologies with every new iPhone.  

17- all the new music is pushing teens and adults toward drug use and a lot other stupid stuff!!  

Why? Because we are stupid enough to listen to it and make the people who created it famous.  

18- expensive books and online access to the McGraw hill and my mastering. 

Why? Because publishing companies and educational companies are little greedy and they don’t think or care about the student budget.  

 19- I really hate hen people are late for our schedule or meeting especially when they know that I hate when people call late on me.  

Why? Because we are all humans and we are all different and we can't be perfect.  

20- I really don’t like when people come to my shops and don’t appreciate our good services, or when I get a bad review on business google page and there is not comment why they gave us a bad review?  

Why? Because some people are ignorant, and also because google should have more strict policies about reviews and who can post them.  

I really didn't like this assignment because now that I am done with it, I realize how angry I am about a lot of stuff in my daily life, but yet I can't change most of it because most of the problems are a lot bigger than just me alone. At the end of the day all what I can do is to try to be positive about life and take it one step at time.
